I bought this Marble slipjoint years ago with a load of others that were on sale. All the others i modded and sold on, but this one turned out to be a very large knife. To big for UK carry so i stuck it in a drawer and forgot it.
Couple days ago i found it again and thought id have a play.....maybe i can give it to someone as i wont carry it. Anyway, i reshaped the handle, and put some african blackwood and desert ironwood scales on it, with a slim pewter spacer.
It needs a bit of fine finishing still. I try to get it fairly good, then leave it and come back a day or two later with a fresh pair of eyes to see what needs to be done. My eyesight is not so good nowadays, even with glasses on, so i will never get it as clean as i could ten years ago. But it wont be to bad i hope.
