Large Micarta Sebenza without 'Idaho Made' but with s35vn - does it exist?

I’m considering my first (and perhaps only ever) Chris Reeve Sebenza: a large micarta with double silver lugs and stonewash blade.

At risk of obsessing over details, my ‘grail’ would be without the 'Idaho Made', but with the new S35VN steel.

Was this combination ever made?

If so, can anybody help with where I may buy one?

I don't think that combo exists in a large from CRK. It does in the small, a few came out with plain backs and s35v, I have one in bocate.

As a suggestion, if you were able to locate a pre "idaho made" large micarta seb, you can always add an s35vn blade at a later date. Also, your search would be made even easier by the fact that you could look for a used one. I mean, if you'd be sending it in for a blade swap anyways, might as well give it the full spa treatment. That was it'll come back as good as new and have all the features you desire.

I'd say there is a possibility of it being out there, I had a large micarta that was pre "IM" and I had a S35VN blade for it. I did order the S35VN blade for it seperately. If you can't find your grail knife look for a stampless one and just have a new blade fit to it.

Agreed ^^^ It's possible that there were some, but when I got one of the smalls in that combination I looked for a matching large and didn't find one. Never say never...
