Large O1 chopper

Here is recent chopper I have made. It is forged from a round bar of O1. it is 17.5 oal with a 12 in blade. .32" thick. buckeye burl handle with micarta pins.

why make a knife with recurve? its a beauty for sure.

WOW what an amazing looking piece...love it! not a big fan of recurves myself but mostly because I don´t like making them...using them is/can be fun...sharpening..well not so much fun...depending on how big a curve it has got...anyways love the knife!
the shape of the blade and the beautiful handle... AWESOME!
