Very nice design, values seem high right now so eBay would set the price. I would start at $800 and see where she went from there.
What number H did you get? Condition? Pictures? Don't be a tease, share with the class, thanks.

How aboot starting a bit higher than that?

Fishing expedition... perhaps.. Beautiful example.. but no birth card.. no box.. no sale at that price.. IMHO. But as always the seller certainly has the right to ask anything he or she wants.Wow! Am I missing something here? What makes this sebenza worth that?
Agreed, Dave. Surely it's much easier to come down a lot...than up a little.
I concur Buck... it is indeed a beautiful example of a Decorated P Sebenza!! Not having near the experience in all things CRK especially the early models.. I am thinking this particular example is circa 1994? And if you or any of the other more experienced members could help with the particulars on these early knives it would be greatly appreciated!! So, a couple of questions: 1. If it had the birth card what would it say on it? (I have an early small regular and the card says "Decorated" as opposed to "Unique". 2. Both of my Plain P Sebenzas from 1993 have all silver colored hardware and this one has a blue stand off... is it because it is a "Decorated" version or is it because it is a bit later production my "guess" is a little later production (1994) but as I said I don't know.It is rare indeed and the price is on the high side I believe. Had it had box and BD Card, it could be a possibility. In the case of high prices like this, those missing little things ( box & BD card ) become big things............But then again, seeing what some have been going for on ebay recently, it may not be as far out of hand as we think. The price quoted in this thread though is more accurate honestly.

Also, I would have to say that at least on e-bay if the knife was complete (box, birth card, nylon sheath etc.) it would most likely bring near the asking price or more depending on the audience. I have tracked most of the auctions on e-bay and it appears to me that the recent high prices can be attributed to a couple of bidders.. so may be an anomaly. Again I apologize for the overly long post.
All the best, Dave
You have all the experience you need for this little hobby of ours, my friend.
If your guess about dates is correct, and it probably is, this is what the card would look like -
