Large Pits in VTAC Normal?

Hi everyone,

I've read the faq and posts by Andy, but what size are the pits in most people's VTACs? I have one near the edge that's about 1/2" wide, and 1/4" high, and another above it that's about 1/3" high and 1/8" wide. Is this normal? There are other small pits scattered about that are fine, but these two jumped out at me immediately after pulling it from the sheath for the first time.
