Hi, guys!

Hey, a while back in one of the Junglas threads I saw a large pouch style sheath planned for the Junglas (not offered with it, but an idea for it perhaps later on). It wasn't quite a Rat Pack style sheath; but it had a nice pouch capability on the front and looked like a heavy duty nylon one.

I can't find that picture or any information on it any more...is it still a possible future offering?

Thanks!

It's the Lost Mountain Iron Works sheath, similar to the RAT/ESEE Pack Kit but larger. Charlie said these would be produced in black and khaki.

Scrap Yard has a 10" sheath on their website for around $20 plus shipping. It's cordura/nylon with a plastic liner and a pouch on the front. Nice cheap option for that size knife and their shipping is fast.

thats sexxy. how did i miss that shot before?

also: junglas fever is going to kill me!

It was hidden in the "Is Winter Finall Over" (or something) thread that Charlie from LMIW made. I avoided the thread for a couple days because I didn't want to talk about winter weather. There were some cool pics inside. :D

That's a damn good looking sheath! It would make for a great add on to my future Junglas.

its working good holds a good edge i chopped quite a bit of wood with it yesterday. the handle is pretty big but other than that nice knife for the money especially. can't wait for the junglas the handle looks to be much better.

i had fun makin a kydex sheath for it to.

That Lost Mountain sheath is going to be a hit.

We had a prototype at the booth at SHOT and it's fantastic.

Poor Charlie, Mike and I chewed his ear off and gave him a list of changes as long as my arm. :D

Will the Lost Mountain Sheath be available at the same time the Junglas is, or will you need to purchase it seperately some time down the road?

Dave- that kydex is mighty sexxy. The more I look at it the more I want to make my rtak a trunk knife.

I need to go to confession, I'm having sinful thoughts...that is beautiful! I need to use it NOW... :\ but it'll be worth the wait :)

The sheaths are actually done. We are waiting on the label/patch copmpany to deliver our new patches to Iron Mountain to be sewn on. Always something:)

Hey Mike? My brothers GF got him a Pack/5 knife combo, he said something about it only being available right now in Khaki? Is that true? I wanted to order the pack in black, and didn't want to get snagged with it not being available. Should I just wait? Are the pack 5's saying ESEE or RCC still?

The black ones ought to be in stock in a couple of weeks with the new ESEE patches. The new patches are a subdued green and black to cut down on signature in the bush. That was a suggestion from some users including one of our dealers, E M Gear. Mike

Good news on both counts !

Anyone have a link for these sheaths? I can't find any info on the web. It might be a good option for other 10" blades as well.
