Large Quality Folder

Been looking for a Very large Quality folder.. Looking for the 5" blade range. I saw the SOG SPEC ELITE II but frankly it just looks cheap.. What is out there?
 
The largest folder I have is a Benchmade Rukus and it has a 4-1/2" blade. This thing exudes quality. However, I'm not sure if they are still being produced so it might be a bit hard to find.

That would be negative. It's a great knife, though. And there are a few still out there. But they're not cheap.

5" bladed folders are a lot less common than 4" and under. Cold Steel makes some that big, and bigger. Most companies don't offer much in that size.
 
 
Pohl Force foxtrot one is around 4.5inches. over 4 inches isn't as common mostly because at that size most people go with a fixed blade.
 
When you say the 5" blade range I would suppose a 1/2" either way would be acceptable? Several nice 4.5" bladed knives have been mentioned with the Fox Deimos being extremly nice. Another 4.5" bladed folder, and it is BIG, is the Ontario Retribution I. The Darrell Ralph HTM's suggested, Madd Maxx and the Expendables AXD, are mid-tech folders, with a price range of ~$425 to $550 and 5.5" blades, that are perfectly executed and worth every penny in my opinion!

Regardless of what you go with there are a lot of excellent knives to be had in all different price ranges. Good luck in finding what you want!
 
thanks for all the suggestions so far.. Keep them coming.. I do like that rukus although it did get a little bigger. Not sure I can do the cold steel route.. I do like USA built number 1. Not to say it is out of the question
