Large Sebenza 21 CGG "Ladder"

Hi everybody,

CGG Sebenza in combination with damascus blade are not seen that often. More likely the Unique Graphic pieces are sometimes coming with damascus blades. The most known CGG with damascus blade, I guess, is the CGG "Raindrop". Just by chance I saw a CGG "Ladder" at a knife webshop and I was quite surprised. But considering that there are different damascus pattern available, like "Raindrop", "Ladder" and "Basket Weave", why should the "Raindrop" CGG be the only one were they pick up the damascus pattern and continue its design towards the scale ? I have no idea whether they will ever make a CGG "Basket Weave" (and I have difficulties to imagine how it would perform in terms of estetics), but they definitely did a CGG "Ladder" which I found more faszinating than the "Raindrop", so I went for it. But that is of course personal preference. Let me know what you think about it.

I usually am put off by knives with decorated handles and Damascus because they clash. This one works for sure!

I never say this about CGG, but I would buy that. Awesome.

Oh. And then I would use the hell out of it!!
 
Outstanding! That is a spectacular sebenza and the photography is spot on. Nice choice Sir.
 
I have seen this and have thought about getting many times. I have never warmed up to ladder damascus and have had a few of them, but I must say I am coming around. After having several in raindrop and basketweave, not having a ladder almost seems out of place.

There is a Basketweave Version on the CRK Website. They show All 3 listed there. Basketweave, Ladder, Raindrop.
 
Hey does anybody have one of these still? I'm in the search for one and I'm picture hungry! [emoji4]
 
My pictures disappeared because I had them hosted at the gallery of a German knife forum. After they did a major software update the links have been destroyed. Do you want me to restore them here in this thread? Or are you looking for pictures from other members?
 
Nice! I'm actually looking for a ladder CGG with ladder Damascus. I do love the colors on that one though!
