Like titles says just realized that my large sebenza 21 don't have V stamped on blade anyone know what that means? plus there is 2 little micro indents on where the detent ball rides on the blade and you can feel it catch on that part only when moving the blade with your fingers.

What is the birthday of the knife, do you have the bday card???
V denotes S35VN
S denotes S30V
No stamp means BG42 or ATS34 depending on the year it was made
Don't have a clue about the micro detents

You'd probably have more luck in the CRK forum

yeah i do its november 17 2014

ok just did

Not yet received. If it is the one you bought from here, it looks 100% legit to me. I'm sure you may know this, but the V is right next to the pivot hole. You can only see it when you disassemble.

yeah it don't think its fake ether cause i compared it to another new sebenza and mine is smoother lol

I am pretty sure all of the s35 blades are stamped "v", they just have a supply of unassembled blades for general replacement and warranty issues. I have send in for a new blade before, and it had the same stamp as any of my other blades.

Yeah well I'm shipping it to chris reeve today getting spa treat meant and getting factory bevel and well see what they say about the knife.

It's very rare, but a real illusive one can slip through without getting stamped. I haven't seen it before with the blade, but I have seen a presentation scale without trademark.
