Just completed a trade with Larry at Bladeart, a great guy to deal with. Received a large regular Sebenza yesterday. Still get a thrill when I unwrap the tissue from around a Sebenza even though I know what I will find. Of course it is nice to see perfection! Wanted to give my large woodie a little rest so I traded for the large regular, any excuse will make sense when a Sebenza is involved. Larry sent me one with a polished blade and gold thumbstud along with gold rear spacer. Looks nice against the dark grey of the bb handles. So after checking it out and taking it apart to clean and reapply some CRK grease, always do this whether it needs it or not........sorta like taking a bath every Saturday night, whether I need it or not. Anyway, after doing this I started to put the box away but decided to look at the born on date to see if it held any significance for me. Almost, literally almost, dropped the knife when I saw 9-11-01 as the born on date! Sorta going to remind me every time I pull out this knife just what America stands for. Also going to remind me to send up a prayer for our great country and the people that make it up!

Well, just wanted to share that with all the CRK fans out there. God bless.

Oh yeah, HOW 'BOUT THEM HEELS!! of course I'm talking about the University of North Carolina Tarheels football team.............for those of you who don't know HOW 'BOUT THEM HEELS!

If you ever trade or sell that knife I will come to N.C. and whoop your ass. ;) That is one Sebbie that you should never ever part with.

Nothing beats Hockey..not even college football.

Awesome Art!

Call it the "Blade of Retribution."

The polished blade with gold accents sound beautiful. That certainly is a special knife.

Art, that does sound like a great knife. Enjoy.

Tarheels + football= hahahahahahaha ;)

See you in "Death Valley" next Saturday :D

GO TIGERS

I picked up my new Mnandi at Guns & Knives in Ft. Lauderdale last week. I, too, got a chill when I saw the BOD was 9/11.

Thanks for shareing that! Never sell that knife! NEVER

I know I would never sell such a knife.

Any chance of a pic?

Wow, I never noticed the date...
Hang on to that one Art, she's special...

No, I plan to hold on to this one...........along with my wood inlay large! I have been carrying this one all week long and really enjoying it. I can't help but comment that I traded a well known makers frame lock for the Sebbie because the other just didn't have the feel of my Sebenza! The lock up is perfect with about 40% of the blade tang being covered, and when closing, the blade just gets "sucked in" on the last 1/4 inch and snaps shut. Just like a good Sebbie should! Gold accents do make a different look on the dark gray handles.

Now, to address Cutiger3. GO HEELS! I'm afraid Woody might get a severe case of heartburn from too much Pepper tomorrow!

Ahh CUTIGER3. What can I say. After the 0-3 start I wasn't looking forward to a trip to Death Valley by any means! It appears I forgot to add the "other spice" Curry to the mix. Just hope you get HEELed up before January, 'cause you will need another HEELing then!

Know why the sky is Carolina Blue?.........cause God is a Tar Heel!

BTW, just to add some knife content, still carrying the 9-11-01 Sebenza and it is still as sweet as the day I got it. Didn't even switch back to the woody for Sunday carry!

I say that you are now obliged to slice bin Laden's throat with that knife!!

What do you think guys, should we buy him a ticket to Afghanistan?:)
