Just completed a trade with Larry at Bladeart, a great guy to deal with. Received a large regular Sebenza yesterday. Still get a thrill when I unwrap the tissue from around a Sebenza even though I know what I will find. Of course it is nice to see perfection! Wanted to give my large woodie a little rest so I traded for the large regular, any excuse will make sense when a Sebenza is involved. Larry sent me one with a polished blade and gold thumbstud along with gold rear spacer. Looks nice against the dark grey of the bb handles. So after checking it out and taking it apart to clean and reapply some CRK grease, always do this whether it needs it or not........sorta like taking a bath every Saturday night, whether I need it or not. Anyway, after doing this I started to put the box away but decided to look at the born on date to see if it held any significance for me. Almost, literally almost, dropped the knife when I saw 9-11-01 as the born on date! Sorta going to remind me every time I pull out this knife just what America stands for. Also going to remind me to send up a prayer for our great country and the people that make it up!
Well, just wanted to share that with all the CRK fans out there. God bless.
Oh yeah, HOW 'BOUT THEM HEELS!! of course I'm talking about the University of North Carolina Tarheels football team.............for those of you who don't know HOW 'BOUT THEM HEELS!
