I have noticed on my large Insingo that when the blade is closed the lanyard can be rotated so that it comes into contact with the tip of the blade. Has anyone else noticed this? I am thinking this is due to the blade design because I have not heard about it happening on the regulars (or the Insingo for that matter).

My small Insingo does the same thing. I don't use the lanyard attachment on my Umnum, as I just use the outside scale lanyard hole instead.

Happens on my large 21 and large classic. Only happens with the lanyard pin though.

Take out the lanyard pin and attach the lanyard through the holes (as one would do before the lanyard pin was there). Did it with mine and no issues. I actually dont like the lanyard pin.

I take the lanyard off all of My CRKs although I do have one on a large regular I use right now for work. My Insingo I carry in a belt pouch without the lanyard.

I was just looking at different lanyard styles to tie with some 550 cord through the holes where the lanyard pin is suppose to be........

Thing to remember is that the new lanyard pin is new to the sebenza. Previously there was no lanyard pin and one would tie the lanyard through the holes in the scales. Those holes on the large Sebenza can easily accommodate 550cord.

I took the lanyard pin out and am now trying to find a good deal on some 550 cord to tie my own lanyard.

...That looks great!

Have you tried leather? I have a little "Chris Reeve" style leather one tied to my Insingo right now through the lanyard holes because I noticed the same thing when I looked at it. I like leather because it looks classy and it has nice grip. I just used a dark brown leather shoe lace from Hellmart. I also like leather because it gets soft and malleable after a while and doesn't show dirt like some of the lighter colored P-cord.

I have not tried leather. I do like your lanyard though. Looks distinguished on the Insingo. I may have to get some leather shoe laces and make one of my own.

You can also go to a leather shop/supplier if there is one close to you. They are usually cheaper, but not always with small quantity stuff.
