So i am thinking of getting a large insingo, it's just that i'm torn between a plain or micarta one. I am hesitant to pay the full price for the micarta and i am hesitant towards the plain because i already have a plain 21. Do you guys thinks its smarter to wait for a better deal on the secondary or just to snag it brand new?

I say buy new, if you find its not a good fit you can always sell it. The micarta inlays are awesome too. Gives it something a little extra without having to sweat damaging it.

Just my two cents.

I'd say go with the Micarta. You're clearly curious about it since you already have a plain, and they aren't rare on the exchange, though it will take a little patience perhaps.

I had a small micarta and i liked it, but it's now gone. I think imma jump on the micarta insingo.

+1 for micarta. I'd just go ahead and buy the first one you can find from a dealer instead of waiting for one to pop up for sale here.

I just ordered a Large Insingo Micarta that shipped today! Can't wait to see how I like it and I'll report back with my thoughts.

Ordered it!

You won't regret the micarta.

I find it to be leaps and bounds better than the plain Ti scales.

For one thing it adds a little better grip and width for handling, and another thing it doesn't show wear as much as the plain Ti.

Good choice, the large micarta (regular blade) is one of my favorites.
Now when I imagine that combined wiwth the Insingo blade-shape.....

My Large Micarta Insigno rolls in tomorrow. I'll be on pins and needles all day which usually means my house will be the last delivery on the route:grumpy:

OK folks, be prepared for two Large Micarta Insigno pics threads tomorrow, unless you'd care to share one dflores:D:thumbup:

USPS does it again! Was a 2 hour drive away from my house last night and it wasn't delivered today so i guess i have to wait till tomorrow! It's no wonder they're going broke..
