Yes, it should be here soon to join my small 21 Insingo.
I can't wait.
One question, are the lanyard pins on the Large still made the same way as before? In other words, if I remove the lanyard, does the pin fall out? Just trying to figure out if I need to buy the accessory lanyard pin with shoulders from CRK.
Thanks all

The newer lanyard pins are shouldered. I first noticed the change on a 21 I have from December 2018. Congrats on the large

Congratulations. My favorite knife, behind the drop point!

Well, it's here.
Guess I can't add pix as I'm not a paid member.:(
I like the large better than the small as it just feels better in the hand and is much easier to open/close. And, as usual, it's perfect.
Also, CRK has really stepped up their sharpening game. This is only the 3rd Sebenza I've ever owned, but it's by far the sharpest out of the box.
Anyway, I always wondered why the knife was designed with only that one small part of the blade tang sticking out when closed. Anybody know?
IMO, it would've looked cleaner had they designed it so that it was covered by the handle.
I'm sure Mr Reeve had a reason.

Yes you can, you don't have to be a paying member to post pics. But a basic membership isn't that much.
Read this, it has the steps to post pics.

So, does anybody know why the knife was designed with only that one small part of the blade tang sticking out when closed.(circled in 3rd pic)

Nice knife.

I think I'm gonna purchase a Large 21 PJ today. Atleast I will have it if I don't care for the 31 as much.

I've purchased plenty of new CRK but every plain I've had was pre owned.

All my CRK's have the same protrusion to some degree. I think it has to do with the stop pin.

Yes, I realize that.
My question is why didn't they subtly sculpt the handle scales to cover it up when closed?
BTW, nice trio there Ajack60!

Does your lanyard pin rattle and make noise without the lanyard? I removed my lanyard, but I miss the blue pin

Add a little bit of Crk grease to it where it meets the handle slab. That’ll eliminate the rattle. I’ve used a tiny dab of super glue before also

I don’t know what it is about this newest large 21 Insingo I recently got, but it by far the smoothest and most hydraulic feeling I’ve ever felt. It is absolutely amazing. I’ve had four CRKs and this one takes the cake. My large 21 drop point isn’t even this smooth and buttery and I’ve used it for over a couple years now.

Beautiful knife. So simple and pared down. It really demonstrates the concept of perfection being achieved when there is nothing left to take away.

Mine too.
I can't wait till it breaks in!!
