large Sebenza or a Umnumzaan

what should i get next,
i am considering another mid size folder in the 3.5" blade range, i currently have a small sebenza which i like but i am not absolutely in love with (prefer my 3" hinderer and zdp carbon fiber caly) it is possible that for me i may actually like the 3.5 " sebenza better then the smaller and in the larger form the knife which i know is well loved may be make more sense with me.
In 3.5 inch range i also have a large hinderer, a SNG, a Manix S90v, stretch, kulgera, 943, para military, zt 350, blur, shallot and few others. With all this in mind i am very curious about the Umnumzaan, i will probably make my next purchase either the Umnumzaan or the large sebbie... so any opinions would be great, especially between the two CRKs

you seem to like your sm seb, but i dn't think a bigger one will impress you that much more. I think Id try the Um for something different. However, I think you have enough expensive knives in the size range:P. Maybe time to try some fixed blades?:P
 
Get the Umnum. It will melt your heart and you will love it. Nice collection you have already, go ahead and get the Umnumzaan.
 
IMO the Sm Seb is a toy compared to the Lg. Sure they are built the same, but I MUCH prefer the Lg. I have had little experience with Sm Classic/21 sebs and they may be different... the Reg is just a to-sale version of the Lg, which is designed well... The Sm is a compromise which may work for those with small hands but not for me. I did carry one for three years EVERY DAY... actually I had two for the majority of that time... once I got a taste of the large the small seemed... like I said... a toy. The Caly 3 is a COMPLETELY different story. It isdesigned to be what it is... and it is PERFECT as it is designed. I have no attraction to the UM... a little to tacticool for me. I would try a Lg Seb if I was you... and I would get a 21.

thanks for the opinions! good point about the sebenza being designed for the 3.5 " form factor and the small one being a scaled down version, maybe that is why it seems odd for me and the form function element is not absolutely convincing.. the fit and finish is sweet though! How do the pivot compare in feel between the two??
as to fixed blades that is a whole 'nother story in which i have variety of lovely options!
 
I don't own either but have handled both. I have medium sized hands and the Lg Seb 21 feels awkward whereas the Um fits quite well. Also I much prefer duel thumb studs to single ones so that's another area where I find the Umnumzaan more appealing.
