I was lucky enough to pick up this absolutely mint in the box Native American here on BF Saturday night, Sunday morning. I have had a few Large (Regular) CGG's but never really warmed up to them. Don't get me wrong they are beautiful knives, but I am a little weird I guess (No Really):) I prefer the Large Sebenza in its "Original" form by that I mean with the plain bead blasted handles. whether it is a Large "P", Original, Regular, Classic or 21. I do however like the Decorated, Unique and CGG's in the Small varieties. For my part I had never really heard of this particular CGG and did not realize that it was such a popular design and even a "Grail" for some CRK aficionado's. Not until after I purchased it and did a little research did I appreciate the significance of the knife.. And not until it arrived this afternoon and I had the opportunity to see it in person did I realize how truly beautiful it really is!! Before I end another very long and I am sure boring to most post, I would like to personally thank the former caretaker of this wonderful work of CRK ART!! Thanks Geode for making It possible for me to share your Native American with the rest of the CRK Community. And if any of you get the opportunity in the future to deal with him you will find out what a pleasure it is!! Thanks again Jeff!!
Ok, here is a link to some pictures I took with my cell phone camera. They do not do justice to the knife but I hope you enjoy them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

You are very lucky indeed that I did not see this in the exchange before you. :D

That is most certainly an impressive find!

Does anyone know if the graphics have any significance or meaning?

The Native American has long been my favorite CGG design. If I had seen it, it would have been long gone a second later....lol. I have had the WTB in my signature forever it seems....lol. I am glad that you got it though mikepapa1. Enjoy It.....!!! They are a beauty for sure.

That's a great question onespdfrk!! I too would be interested in knowing exactly how and why the symbols on the knife were chosen. To my eye they just appear to be things that were significant in the lives of "Native Americans" you have the Moon next to the CRK logo, Arrows, Fire, Moon & Bird, Sun, Tepee, Canoe, and the last thing to come into the lives of Native Americans the Horse. I doubt there is any real significance to the symbols themselves, but things that we in modern America identify as being representative of the Native American lifestyle of the past. All I know is that this is one Beautiful Knife!! :)

I would buy this graphic in a second. I hope they re-release it. it seems much more in-tune with the brand and its followers than maybe the celtic designs, or a few of the other presently offered CGG. Why are the "good old days" always slipping away?

Thanks nyefmaker!! not having seen one before now.. I can understand why it is your favorite CGG!! It took about 30 seconds to become my favorite! As I said before, I really never warmed up to the Large CGG's but this one is something different. I think it is the simplicity of the design. It's not "gaudy".. It's just kind of simple. I like it a lot!!

Congrats I have wanted to find a large native graphic forever and never found one. Hope to add one to my collection some day.

Congrats!

I agree kidcongo! I'm sure if they reintroduced some of the old graphics from the 'Regular' on the 21 or even better the 25 they would sell like hotcakes! Of course I haven't seen any problem with the sales of the current offerings from CRK.. If anything they have a problem keeping up with production! But we can hope! Wouldnt it be nice to see a Sebenza 25 CGG in 'Websight" "Crosshairs" or of course the "Native American"...

Thanks Dan! I will be the first to admit it was just plain luck to have gotten the Native American, so many others have been looking for one, some for years! And for me a relatively new BF member and CRK enthusiast to stumble upon one in the early morning hours.... Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in awhile! In this case a jewel!
