Large Sebenza ZigZag?

I just got a plain large Sebenza with ZigZag pattern in the handle. Handles are blasted. Pattern has no color just polished. Born in August 1999. Is this an odd variation? Any more value than just a plain sebbie? May be common but it is the first one I have seen like it.

That's the first I've heard of that! You'll need to get the Zig Zag Umfaan as a companion knife!

I know that some would like to have the arrow Umfaan pattern on the small or large Sebenza but have been told not to hold our breath as production has a tough time enough with normal orders.

Nice find, do you have a scan of it?

No I don't have a pic yet. I just got it. I have never seen one like it. The zigzag pattern is exactly like the Umfaan but no color. I will try to get a pic of it at work.
 
i have a lg. lefty benza with the zigzag as you describe. pontiaker has it at the moment.i'll ask him to post a pic.

I would guess these are plain Sebenzas sent back to CRK for decoration. Anne reported earlier they perform this on knives that have already been blasted. No color available on them from the shop.

Thanks for the pic. This is it, my knife is exactly like this one but right handed. Anyone have any idea how common these are or the value?

Here is another pic of Russ's knife.I reshaped the thumb notch and rounded off some edges, back is very similar to front.Left the owrk with a satin finish instead of a re bead-blast because of the decorated handle.Alot of hand sanding to get the satin finish smooth.The satin looks pretty nice, matches the decorated ZZ pattern nice.Hope you enjoy it Russ!
