I may be a bit of an oddball when it comes to the traditional knife community, but I have to say I like large traditional knives. The recent GEC run of 97s have produced many photos for comparison of older models of various makers. There are some massive slip-joints I had no idea were in existence. I’d like to see more LARGE slip-joints in this thread. LARGE is subjective- especially in this crowd:). So I’ll define LARGE as any slip-joint 4”+ closed (~10.16 cm). Please post slip-joints only! Try to upload pics that show scale. I’ll kick it off with a Queen #20 Daddy Toothpick (5” closed).

Let’s see those large slips.

Thanks Paul. I prefer them with original patina but sometimes one that wasn't too vigorously cleaned catches my eye and joins the herd.
I just love those cases. They are in the perfect condition for an old used knife to be; Well cared for, not too worn and with beautiful original patina. Shiny knives are not always best.

The cokes are great too by the way.

Here are some large sized Tuna Valley knives, made by Queen.

-Burnt Stag SwingGuard = 4 1/2 inch closed
-Ebony Wood Cotton Sampler = 4 1/2 inch closed
-Amber Stag Big Coke Bottle = 5 1/4 inch closed
-Buffalo Horn Fish Scaler = 5 inch closed
