About 14 years ago I asked Chris Reeve to come up with some designs using many colors rather than few. Here is what he put together (born 10/94 & 11/94). Large Sebbie on the left. They went into the safe the day I received them and only saw the light of day until a week ago. Boxes, paperwork, slipsheaths, etc, the whole ball of wax, new as new can be. Any ideas on what these babies are worth? I have no idea if I am going to sell these or not. And there are seven more, whenever I get around to opening them up!

You ever go to sell them I'll take at least one of them. I'd jump on them now while I have the money for what its worth.

There's a "P" on the bay right now.

I'll stick with my previous estimate $400 to $550 or more.

I've been wanting a minty ATS34 Seb but if I have to buy a small and a large well right now I could. Later maybe not. It all depends.

For what its worth I don't want them to use. I have my users. I just want one of each steel. I have the BG42 and a S30V blade. I need at least one ATS34 P and if you want to sell one consider it sold.

As for the value. I would pay $500 for a large graphic like yours right now. Not sure I'd go quite that high on a small though. Probably $425 or so there maybe a tad more if it was brand spankin' new and I liked the pattern.

Dang...somebody put those images in the sticky thread! Those are sweet..really like that one on the left!

Thanks to all for the help, comments and offers. I still am undecided as to what to do but will keep all of the above in mind. I still have six more to open. If I understood sticky threads, I would perhaps give it a try, jprice, but need to figure out how. I am sure there is a tutorial somewhere, but I am someone who just needs to learn for myself or be shown. If you can explain it, I will try!

There is a thread "stickied" at the top of the topic list here in this forum dedicated to pictures of CRK knives. He's merely suggesting that you post the pictures in that thread as well.

Really hope you are able to part with one or two of them to my buddy Steve. (STR).

I would have agreed with Dave until that auction ended today. A large plain ATS-34 "P" Sebenza sold for $780 this afternoon! That is over twice what they have sold for on this forum in the past.

Yes I saw that also because I was watching that one among other auctions for different knives but I don't really think you can judge the value very accurately for anything by what happens on ebay though. For example, my old X-Swiss Army truck just sold for $10,000 (not on ebay) and it was an upgraded one with many add ons and radial tires. I've seen them go for $5000 more than that on Ebay right out of the Swiss army with not even an oil change yet when you could have bought the same truck from any dealer in the country with the original bias ply tires and no upgrades for $10,000 or less. It was far too much $ in my opinion on that one and I'd have to say that about the P Sebbie this evening also. I think sometimes bidders there get so focused on the battle of bids that they get overwhelmed or pissed or some of both at each other and just decide they don't want to lose to someone else that has been chiming in everytime they try to be the top bidder.

Stjames, thanks for the comment. If that kind of market pricing on a plain large P sebbie sticks, I would try sellin' in a minute. I was really taken aback by what it fetched.

STR, I have seen the same thing. Depends on who is bidding and how bad two people want the same thing, sometimes. I would love to think it was pricing reflective of the market, but my gut says it was an anomoly.

Can anyone tell me the relative value between this large sebbie and the small one? Should they sell for about the same price each, given the circumstances? Images are at the top.

Well, after much thought, in the very near future I will list each knife for sale on Blade Forums, but not for quite as much as that Ebay auction would suggest they are worth. FYI

Thanks to all for the comments. This thread is now closed, and both of these Sebbies will be sold. I will start with the exchange here on bladeforums.com and if the right price doesn't come about, will unfortunately go to Ebay and try that out. Hope someone here gets them! I will start with the small Sebbie first and will list it right now. Thanks again.
