I know this question has been beat to death. What size Sebenza do I get? Thats not what im asking here but close. I live in Central NJ and am looking for a place where I could see these two knives side by side in person. Ive looked at every picture under the sun but before I pull the trigger id really like to hold both and see which one fits better. Does anyone know a dealer or store within the tristate area? I will be headed out to the Harrisburg PA Outdoor show this weekend so does anyone know a place out that way also? Thanks for any input on this......I want my SEBENZA NOWWWWW....lol

I was in the same spot, i went with the larger blade by comparing the specs of the blade length to knives i already had. I knew i wanted a roughly 3.5" blade so i went with the 25

I think i want a small 21, but i would like to see one in person later down the road first.

I hope you fine a place to hold them both. I have a large and love it, I have a small and love it. The small seems to be in my pocket more. When I first got a small (not the one I have now) it seemed very small but, the more I use it the bigger it gets. It seems to say "I can handle that let me at it" and darned if it doesn't. If I had to choose one.................................. I am sure this helped. :-)

I agree with birdhunter. I have both and live them both but the small is used much more. If I had to sell one it'd be the large.

If you like to slice the whole apple in half, the large, if you like to quarter it, the small. ......that's one thing to consider...... I like the large blades as my EDC, but I do not work much in public, so producing the large blade is not an issue for me with scaring Co-workers etc. I do know that when carrying my small sebby, I never feel self conscious producing it in public, while I do feel a little bit reserved if I want to use my large blades in a crowd. The small is more friendly looking.

This ^ is right on.
When I worked in the office I carried the small, never felt like I needed more knife as it's perfectly capable of any reasonable task and 99% of unreasonable stuff too. I carried it as not to offend the sheeple.
The day I quit I put a large in my pocket and have carried one since, every now and then it gets looks while I use it if out and about but I don't really care. Thing is, it doesn't really give you all that much more ability if you know how to use the small, it just makes it a bit easier and is a bit more comfortable in my hand.
It's going to be hard to decide without holding both but maybe you can compare to something else that you have.
A small 21 is almost exactly the same size as a mini griptilian from benchmade, most knife stores carry that model so you'll be able to tell if that's big or small enough for your taste.

Remember, you win either way, it is after all a SEBENZA :)

I will tell you now buddy.... You will get both!

I started with the Small 21, I later bought a 25 and I have never looked back. I think the 3.5" is the perfect size for edc. IMO

Oh.. I still have my small 21. It was my first CRK. I will never sell it. Plus I keep it for more dress up occasions

Get Serious. Get Hoyt.

Thanks for the input here guys. I carry a smaller folder at work ie rat II or Senremnu 710. I really beat on my work knives so i like to keep them cheap. But when I get home I carry a 0300 or 0350 Rat 1 Dendra Deer hunter. Point I'm trying to make is I tend to carry larger folders most of the time so maybe a large is the way to go. Any like some of you said I will end up with both probably.

I have both. First the small insingo, then a large CF insingo. I love them both. But I was like you, I had to hold them first. So I googled all the knife shops in a 45 min radius and started calling each place, eventually finding a shop that had each. I started with the small but after a month or two I realized I wanted a slightly larger blade, trying to cut a subway sub or an apple was easier with the large than the small. Both will disappear in your pocket and if weight is an issue get the CF edition from knifeart. It's super light and has every crk quality you would expect. After you pick a size then you need to pick a blade style, traditional or insingo. I prefer the insingo, better slicer and good for food prep IMHO. Whatever you get you will be happy with

Just Noticed this.....we could have an off topic battle on our hands here. LOL:D

So true. Small first then large, wondering why I got the large. However I still love both and couldn't sell them.

Buy both, you will anyways.

The small is probably all you need - but then it's nice to have the larger one. :)
It's a matter of the circumstances. While in the city the small is large enough.
Outdoors the large isn't that large at all.

The large can do anything the small can do and is more versatile. It's the original Sebenza size and it's the size Chris carries.

Same thing for me. I've used the small 21 way more. But I use smaller knives more in general.

What other knives do you normally use? If it's a mini-griptilian (or mini-anything), go for the small 21. If it's a para military or bigger, get the large 21.

Got both. I'd choose large if could only have one. But I like to cut my apple in half in once pass haha. Haven't found anything so small and fine that it can't handle it. Even get splinters out with it

I've been waiting for your response back!! I was like what heck man!! Haha![/QUOTE]

Lol....I've had the original Z7 for a couple years now. I've been the kind of guy who ALWAYS gets the new Mathews but I've had no reason. It's perfect in every way....all the Hoyt's I've shot have had to much hand shock. You can saw I'm a fanboy!!!

So I ended up getting a plain Jane large 21 slightly used from the exchange....should be here Saturday!!!!!

Yeah the Z7 is a solid bow for sure! I almost bought one, then I decided to get serious instead :) Haha

You're going to love it man!! I think the plain jane is the way to go!! You won't be disappointed. If you want a heavier duty version of the 21, the 25 is it! The 25 is my favorite CRK

Post some pics when you get it!!
