large vs small tek lok

Anyone use the small tek lok on sheaths? I have been using the large size, but on some of my smaller knives, I think it may be overkill and the whole package would look better with a smaller belt clip.

I've used small ones. Some of the guys I made knives for prefer them because their belts were under 1.5". The locking system is just a little different iirc , but haven't heard any complaints about them coming undone.

I use the small ones almost exclusively. I keep some of the large ones on hand just incase. The small ones work for just about every sheath I make. I wish they were cheaper, but otherwise I like them.

I use both, just depending on the size of the knife, and what looks reasonable. However, I do drill my kydex eyelets to be compatible with either.
