I have had a large Sebenza now for a few months (LOVE IT!!) and I disassembled it for cleaning recently and discovered some stress marks on the outside edge of the large washer. It looks like the mono lock's inside edge has dropped down on the very outside edge of the washer in several places.
The action never seemed to be as smooth as it could be. Any quick solutions? Should I request a new washer? Or should I return the knife for professional adjustment? Thanks for replying!

If it where mine and I thought the lock was hitting the washer and causing damage to washer I would send it in for adjustment.
Just normal wear against the handle slab will cause some wear on washer, but it should be circular marks. The action should be smooth.
Last time I checked a set of washers was cheap, but new washers won't correct the problem if lock is hitting. Never heard of that condition, if it is indeed happening.
Might phone or email Reeve if they don't respond to your question in a timely manner.
