Most of you know that the large Spyderco Wegner model C48 is my favorite production folder. Sadly, it was discontinued. My first reaction was to get in the fetal position and cry like a baby.
Now I see this from Tim Wegner's Blade-tech:
The larger Spyderco-Wegner C48 collaboration will continue to be manufactured by Blade-Tech as the Pro Hunter and is upgraded to an S30V flat grind blade. It will have a nested linerlock and will have the ambidextrous tip up/tip down clip. As with the Mouse II, the Pro Hunter will be available with G-10 or Carbon fiber scales. Suggested retail prices will be around $139.95 for G-10 and $169.95 for carbon fiber model.
Looks like Blade Tech is going to make them and the Mouse. Hot Damn!!! I am a happy camper.
