I picked up a large Remington yellow off the bay the other day. Didn't realize how big it would be. Anyway kinda fits in with my other large yellow knives:D

Very nice and your other yellow knives are really, IMO, beautiful!!!

Nice group you have there, Invoice! Somehow, the only large yellow I have (or any yellow, for that matter) is this BlackJack Classic 125 (it's actually ivory micarta, but it looks very yellow in color):

GEC canoe included for a size comparison ...

Case CV Cheetah is 4 3/8" long closed with a 3 1/4" blade

Speaking of yellow and LARGE, these of mine are A.G. Russell offerings in yellow Delrin (note the Queen Country Cousin at left, for comparison):

^^^ Wow - those are huge folders, David. I'm guessing belt-sheath carry is the way to go with those!

My biggest Yellows....(only 4 1/4")

Invoice,

Do you know the history of your yellow folder that is second from the top in the photos ? The shield and tang appeared ground off on my monitor.

Derek, I really like that Blackjack and I am not a straight knife man. Only have a couple of Bucks as you would imagine.

Well, for the HUGE Folding Hunter anyway. I don't have a sheath for it, but if I were in the habit of carrying that one regularly, that'd be the way to go. The other two are quite big; but for me anyway, I don't think I'd have much issue with dropping either of them in a front pocket (my jeans are pretty 'relaxed' anyway :D ). I've often dropped a Buck 112 in my pocket; it's along the same size as the locking gunstock seen in the pic, at 3rd from left. The sowbelly trapper at right is a bit thicker, but I could carry that one similarly.

View attachment 426167AG Russell has to be a lover of big knives. His BIG yellow ones are my favorites. David those are some great examples. I carry his wharnecliffe sowbelly in yellow most of the week. It's one big beautiful yellow knife.

300, is this what you might be thinking?

It's a Camillus with a tang stamp 718. Frame was probably leftover from their Buck days. Matches up with a 307.

Yes, Everything but the scale rivets hollered Buck contract. And your estimation is likely correct, shape of scale shield, slanted bolsters, blade detail of no swedge would seal it. But some of it is likely 'extra' parts. Some of the Camillus guys have said that they would fill an order of 10,000 knives with 10,500 parts sets made. One Remington issue is a exact copy of a Buck 303, but the tang stamp is ground off and Remington is just over 'printed' on that spot with Remington stamped shields. I guess I will never know if they were extra Cami's or over-run of Bucks that became Remingtons...Ha With your permission and always giving you photo credit I would like to save your photos above.

I'm always on the lookout for Camillus/Remington/Buck lookalikes. To me there is just something about the shape and build of them. I'm really fond of the Remy's that have green/yellow slabs. Gotta post a few pics of them ugly things.:D
Anyhoo... I'd be pleased if you used the pictures.

300Bucks,

Here's another one for you. The top one, as you know, is the SFO for Smoky Mountain Knife Works. The bottom one is likely an end-of-days knife.
