This is a different knife than I am used to making. The SideKick is normally smaller and the Companion is larger. This is soert of a mix betwen the 2 with a fuller belly.

O-1 steel
G-11 with white liner
Thumb grooves

Marc,
Yes - I etch in Ferric Chloride to bring out the etch. ME and my wife are calling this handle color the sundrop special

Southerners know what Sundrop is. We live off of it:D;)

Brian,
Beautiful knife. I always love your work.
As for Sundrop. I assume your talking about the soda pop? I haven't seen that in years. It's been so long that I had to google it to be reminded. Thanks for the nostalgia.
Later,
Iz

Another beauty Brian  And thanks for showing :)

Mohd.

Notes: Last night your Companion accompanied me again :D And I just love it  How I wish to have your sidekick :)

Brian your knives are some of my favorites out of all the knives I see. Their beautiful but simple, kinda just right to the point. The kind of knife I would like to carry out to work all day with, I sure hope with lots of work and practice I can make one that nice.

Dang. I really love your knives Brian.

Thanks Fiddleback! You can share my blade table if you have any knives made up.
