What's the largest Bowie you've ever seen? I know they get huge, but I've never seen one with over a 13 inch blade. Do they get more monster than that? And it has to be one that's worth a damn...not cheap junk...

There was one on here some time ago made By Himalayan Imports I think. It was like a Bowie sword.I'm sure the owner will post pics.

Sheffield cutlers make a 14" bowie

And up to an 18" can be ordered.

D-guard Bowie from Atlanta Cutlery.

I don't know how to post a link, but it has a 18" clip point bowie blade.

It's a remake of an actual knife issued to confederate soldiers in the american cival war.

-Pretty impressive, and a lot of steel for less than $90. Heck I've been tempted to get one for a while now, just for the fun and novalty of the thing!:)

Do historical messers count? They're really more like swords, but many look bowie-esque.

If not, here's my personal beater that's inspired by the Sheffield style, at around 24" overall.
