As a rule, I don't buy custom folders, but rules are made to be broken.

I shattered my own rule, in high style, this week. I have always heard great things about Larry Chew's tactical folders, and that he is one of the top five makers. Now I know, by personal experience, that it is all true and completely justified.

FWIW, IMHO, Larry Chew's work is simply right off the scale.

Well I'll be ...... :D

Looks like a good choice, I don't know much about this area of custom knives, but I know what I like when I see it, and have admired the Monster Slayer, and a fair few others in the Vanguard range. Good score!

Yep, rules ARE meant to be broken! And you sure 'nuff broke it on one heckuva' folder. Larry's work is solid, tight, and clean. The "VooDoo" pivot makes opening the blade one of the smoothest folders available. When the Chewman makes a tactical folder....he MAKES a tactical folder! :D :D :D

I like diversity. I like precision. I like fun-to-open knives. :D

Bingo! Congrats, Peter!

Thanks guys!

I have had some fun with the flippers. They have been good therapy since my accident. The permanent damage I suffered has slowed me down a bit, and I have had to learn new ways to do a few things, but I will manage.

My new little fixed blade will be available later this week. It is similar in design to the Helix and Slayer. They will be limited in number so........

Pete, it's refreshing to see you finally coming out and celebrating your diversity! :D

Seriously, way cool knife.
