Greg,

Larry is currently attending the Oregon Show.

Generally, when he is preparging for a show, it's tough to get in touch with him for 2-3 weeks before the show.

Hi Greg
Saw Larry yesterday at the OKCA show in Eugene. He IS alive and well and some kind of gentleman!!! My new Covert Spitfire came home with me on my promise to pay via PayPal when I got back to my computer. (Something about how I "looked to be honest"). Mine was the third of only three he took to the show and other guys were standing inline drooling and with CASH in hand. He is THE MAN in my book.

We often think that when we have completed our study of "one", we know all about "two", because "one and one is two". We forget that we still have to make a study of "and".

Here is one Larry finished for me about three weeks ago. It is his TKCL knife.

Oh Larry! That sure looks sweet. I am sure going to be thrilled to get MY tkcl knife

(oh, and the same goes for David Broadwell and Johnny Stout!)I have my Darrel Ralph and the "non-tkcl" knife as made by My main man Mr. Turnbull and named by txlazer I believe.

I just spoke with Larry at the Eugene show. He was supposed to deliver a knife I had ordered (M/A Cujo), but got behind in preparaition for the show. Said he was only able to bring 3 knives! He was nice enough to explain in detail the workings of his "Voodoo" bearing system, and the "Covert" D/A locking mechanism. VERY interesting! I had no idea his knives were so intricate and complicated! He did show me my Cujo in progress. Had the liners, blade and bolsters cut...I'm waiting patiently for the finished product, because I know it'll be well worth it!!

Thanks Larry!!

I spent some time with him and put my glasses on to look at his new knife (with a lock on the auto button!!) VERY nice.... however I think he is going to have to raise his prices as his money somehow flew away on sat nite!!!!!!!!!!

Larry is going back to Texas this afternoon. We have been riding around the Bay Area on a couple of my Harleys.Kind of letting him see the bikers side of life and I think I have created a monster.
Mr Mayo:Nice to break bread with you and thanks for changing my tire. You looked great under my Expedition.

Larry Chew here:

I am alive!!

Les is right, getting ready for a show is a two-three week knife fest!

I decided to take a few days after the show to visit with my bud Randy and take a short break. I will be home tonight but not until late. It will probably take me a day to answer all the phone calls and e mails, but I will get back to you Gregg.

It was great seeing everyone at the Eugene show. Wait till you guys see the pictures of Tom Mayo and Ken Onion changing the flat on Randy's Expedition!!!

Hang Loose,
Larry

PS: Be at the BAKCA show!! You will be sorry if you miss this one!

Hey Larry, Good to know your still breathing, Larry D. came to Andrews for a few days & enjoyed him muchly! had a blast. Hope all is well with you, Take care Buddy, Dwayne Dushane

I got to know what it feels like to work for the government.........five guys to change one tire.....Randy was the supervisor.. mostly I think cause nobody could kick his butt (or want to try!!)
smile.gif

Nah, Tom. For government work, the five guys who are there are not allowed to change the tire. You were in Oregon, so they'd probably fly a team of experts in from Florida.
