I want to thank everyone from the forum who offered suggestions and feedback while I was building this site. It is now fully up and can be found here.

As an aside, working with Larry to get this done has been great and I promise this gent has a passion for building knives...Look for new stuff soon. I for one am very excited.

Sam--

That's a beautiful job. Easy to navigate, good photography, loads pretty fast. A fun site to look at. Larry's knives aren't too hard on the eye, either. Very nice stuff.

BTW, what kind of release and springs do his double actions use? Coil or leaf?

Congrats and thanks for the heads up.

Hey Will,

The way he explained it the VooDoo requires a Leaf spring but otherwise he can use either depending upon cutomer requests... I would email him to double check though. There may be some limitations I am unaware of. His leaf springs jump when you cut them loose though! BAM

Thanks for the compliment.

-Sam.

Ooops forgot to add that all the ones I have seen were Rocker release...

Man, a Larry Chew lock with a leaf spring release ought to be one solid action. I bet there's no blade play whatever. So to release the lock when the blade is open, to close it, you just operate the rocker with the button again?

Will:
Larry Ds knives have a standard liner lock, to release the blade the liner must be depressed, the button when pushed releases the leaf spring to kick the blade open.

Thank you guys for the positive responses to the site and the knives. Sam has out done himself with the site work and I just got lucky with the knife work.
Will, the pivot is the Chew Voodoo bearings system, mounted in a standard manual locking linger knife, add a rocker in a slot between the bolster and scale, float a button on one end of the rocker and catch a leaf spring with the other end and you've got a chilly little D/A folder.
Kevin, email me from your current address. I have had mail returned the past couple of times I tried to mail you. Thanks, Larry D.

Sammy and Larry D,

Great job on the new web site! Long time in coming, but well worth the wait!!

Congratulations to both of you!!

Thank you for that edification. The pic of the dismantled knife is an eye opener.

Beautiful lines, great scope of materials choices, impressive construction design.

Congratulations to all
