Not sure if all have seen the SMKW special edition of Buck knives with Larry the Cable Guys sayings and pictures...A nice 110 with his picture in the handle and "Git -R-Done" on the blade.......sad, very sad.....lol...I will not be adding this to my 110 collection....
 
Is there a picture that would spur you (you know who you are) to buy one, 110 with the acrylic button photo implant, because they are doable subject to approval from Buck's special project department and the minimum order would be 250 pieces?
 
Dave I looked but did not see your earlier post...Of course I was still laughing about the knife so it may have caused me to miss it!!!!

Did you have anyone/anything in mind Steve?
 
Anyone: All of the Buck family, BCCI legends (R. Mathany, i.e.), forum giants (Evil Eye Earl, i.e.), my mother (however, this wouldn't mean much to the other 249 owners) and I really don't have a sure-fire face so that's why I asked the group.

Anything: US flag, compass, 1/10 oz gold US coin, Hoyt's anvil/hammer/shop and, here again, I don't have a winning idea. Perhaps the pictorial button implant is superflous but I betcha someone somewhere has a killer idea.

Many times I'll try something in order to see if it works for me. Many times this approach fails. But once in a while stuff works like a hand in a glove.
 
Yeah, I see you guys scoffing, but we'll start seeing them on the Sunday picture show in a few weeks :p

How about an empty photo button that you place your own photo in and pop the plastic button over the top of? Then it could be for anyone who wanted to have their own special custom photo knife and you don't have to order 250 of them with one photo!

I just found this thread five years later and got a chuckle. I just ordered a Larry the Cable Guy Buck 110 and will proudly display it with my collection. Collecting knives is fun to me and this knife fits the bill.

That Duck Commander limited edition is a must have among the wingshooting set! Then we'll need a good bill fishing Buck 110 too - maybe Ernest Hemingway? OH
 
Gold etch them on the blades and they will sell like hotcakes. Good gold etching that is. Like they used to do.
