I noticed that several of their Larue brand products specifically say "Made in the USA" on them, and in the ads it says "Made in-house, in Texas, in the USA". But the knife doesn't say "Made in the USA", or "USA", nor does the ad say anything about where they are made.
The fact that they don't say where it's made is suspicious, and would lead me to believe China, or maybe Taiwan.
I don't necessarily have anything against knives made in those countries, but $400 for a knife that might be made in China or Taiwan is not my idea of a good deal.
The knife
looks decent enough, with a good steel (S30V), but the steel is a bit outdated. S30V was big about 20 years ago. $400 seems pretty pricey for S30V.
But hey, you get a
free hat ($30 value). $30? Must be one hell of a hat

Had to laugh a bit at the description of the choil- "especially useful when placing a finger forward of the quillion to remove the blade from stubborn objects (like a skull)"
