Rob, if you see this, can you post where your booth is located?? SHOT is huge. I will be there Friday and sure don't want to miss seeing y'all in person.
Rick Hinderer Knives does not have a location at SHOT but both Rick, Rob and some others from Rick Hinderer Knives will be spending a fair bit of time at the SHOT show. Rob posted this in another thread:

I'm heading out to Las Vegas early tomorrow morning for SHOT show 2014! And then right after SHOT on saturday will be attending the Tactical Invitational. A full week of excitement! I will be mostly at the Kershaw booth talking with customers and supporting Kershaw knives and ZT in their debut of 3 more of my designs! I am really excited about these designs! Please come by the booth and say hi and allow me to show them off to you!
Something else new this years show for me will be the debut of my 3 way collaboration between myself,John Benner at Tactical Defense Institute and Ka-Bar knives! This is a fixed blade design based on John's TDI knife and I lent my touch to the blade style and changed it up a bit..its a very cool and useful design knife. I'm really excited with what Ka-Bar did with this project! Stop by the Ka-Bar booth and talk to John Benner and John Motil about this new knife!
And then at the Tactical Invitational we will be debuting my new design folder! A very aggressive type design in a slimmer more linear design. Maybe some of you have seen a few of the pics that we put up recently!
Anyway, I have alot going on here and am really excited! Please come by the booth and say hi or just stop me in a aisle and say hi!

Rick and Rob, it was very nice to get to meet you both. Rick, it was great to get to talk steel with you I look forward to, as you suggested, using my S35VN hard and comparing it. Rob, didn't get to talk much, but you were certainly very accommodating, and a gentleman. Thank you both for taking the time.

Does TKI timing always/generally/sometimes coincide w/ SHOT?
My flight superintendent is an FFL and I have him talked into taking me to SHOT next year (with the wives in tow w/ spa packages) so it would be fantastic to do both in one trip..
Also, I know next to nothing about TKI so I'll have to do some research - but, I think I read that it was sold out so I infer that tickets are required. Are they available to the public or is it only open to those in the business / by invitation? I'd love to be able to bid on a new iteration of Hinderer (and it wouldn't be for immediate resale as is already happening with this year's)..
