Anyone know of a way to remove BM factory lasermarking besides acid wash/sand blasting? Really not a fan of the bone collector 15020 markings or the Camp Perry giant logo. Would be awesome if polishing with Flitz or something would remove the logos. Thought I'd ask here, I'm sure someone has attempted this :D

The etching is very deep on laser marked blades. Takes a lot of metal removed to do the job. I own a 710BKD2 that took many many hours of polishing to get down to near acceptable and can still see the McHenry and Benchmade logo. Was it me I'd see if they could do a blade swap for $25 plus shipping...that's not a bad price; although I know a few that bought a second knife just for the stock blade...I don't have that kind of extra change.

Wouldn't they replace it with another blade marked the same way?

Yeah, you're right on the BC blade...(you COULD ask for a stock Presidio drop point replacement...) but to replace the blade with a stock 551 on the Perry would still hold up, since it's basically the same knife.
