Tonight we had some typical Spring stormy weather moving through NW Arkansas, and I again found myself thinking "ok, which Sebenza is going with me wherever this weather goes?"

Well, as usual, the answer was the same when I face this question...my large regular BG42 Sebenza is going to be the last blade standing with me whatever the weather. I've had this one for a number of years. It has ivory micarta onlay on the non-lock side which I installed after I got it. I will hold this knife as long as I can.

What would be the CRK you pocket before the storm hits the fan? ;)

Similar for me. My large plain jane 21. If I could only keep one folding knife, it would be this one.

A large Regular in BG-42 is a splendid choice and I would do what it took to rescue mine, although my Umnumzaan would already be in my pocket. :p

You guys seem to be getting hammerd with the weather of late over there. I hope it stays nice where ever possible. I'm enjoying blue skies low 30's and the odd small storm rolling through just for a bit of entertainment. :)

Thanks for your well wishes Haze. What we had here tonight was mild & nothing compared to what the STRONG Oklahoma folks have endured recently. God bless them all!

I would also go with a large regular in either BG-42 or S30V. I actually prefer the S30V, but both are the greatest Sebenzas CRK has made. I have not yet had a sebenza 25, but as good as it looks and functions, the large regular cant be beat. If I could not have a large regular, I would go with my original umnumzaan. Both a large regular sebenza and umnumzaan are always close by though, just in case...!!!

For me it would be my Large Sebenza in the belt sheath, Professional Soldier in the Bug Out Bag, and my Green Beret is always on hand behind the seat in the truck.
I figure those should pretty much cover my needs as far as cutting tools go.

Stay safe out there in NW Ark. Used to live in tornado country myself and those storms are no fun!

Sounds like you'd be "blade rated" for sure.

Thank u all for your comments & photos...enjoying it all while I watch weather again tonight. Send smoke & prayers for those Oklahoma folks.

Definitelyt my 25. I have all of the CRK's and the 25 simply outperforms them and is the most comfortable to me.

Probably my large regular BG42 Sebenza, partial serrations, my first CRK. I replaced the front slab with a Stars & Stripes. Did major resharpening three times.

Just got my 25 yesterday...it's too early to tell. The detent is tough for me right now, but I suspect it'll get more like my other Sebs after some exercise. At least I hope so. It bit me, just barely, and sliced off some skin, but no blood. It is a beaut, but don't know if it will/can replace my other Sebs or Zaan. I'll have to get some pics up. It does appear to be well-made, but gosh, that is not news.

The Large Plain Reg is always my first choice, whatever the situation. I've gone through a lot of knives before settling on that one--it sometimes gets displaced by a Small Reg, but I prefer the large.
