I like the 18's or maybe a 20 or 22 would be nice. I get off to late to catch them it seems. They are gone by 3 when i get home from work. Guess that is a disadvantage of being in the southwest.

Yeah I like the shorter one. Any blade that goes over 2 lbs is too heavy to be a real user for me because it starts working on my shoulder.

I have several 17" 23oz ones that I can use on a sustained basis. I don't mind a longer blade that is ligher but at about 30 oz a blade becomes only good for felling a tree or cutting huge limbs of and then I actually have to switch to something lighter to cut it into smaller peices.

I have found the same thing. Some of those long Cobras might be nice for machete work, if they aren't too heavy. Even in machetes, I prefer the cheap thin light Tramontinas for using all day to the heavier Ontarios. I really like the 15" Chitlangi I recently got. It weighs in at about 19 oz, depite having a 3/8" thick spine. Those fullers lighten the blade a lot.

So something like a Chitlanghi would be your huckleberry more than an Ang Khola, right? Or do you prefer to go right to a Sirupate?

From the above posts, it is fair to say that whatever its length, the Bonecutter will fine many willing buyers!

Can we have more please?

More please, indeed. Tell the good Sgt. he has buyers aplenty!

Who says I gave up on Becker?

I actually spoke at length with Ethan two different days of Blade this year. Took one of the early Magnum Camps and showed it to him. Interesting fellow and a pleasure to talk to.

I need a Khadka Bonecutter to go with my Khadka Samsher and my Khadka CAK.
