I thought I'd throw these up here for kicks.
I was digging around for something today and ran across these.
I had almost forgotten about them, but they brought back some memories.
These were made somewhere in '98 - '99. When I would have a dozen knives going at a time.
From left to right they are #s 17, 62 and 83. As I think about it, these were not the numbers to represent the COMPLETED knives that I made, but rather the consecutive #s that I stamped on the finished blades. I still have a whole box of finished blades - somewhere? - that never made it into the 'fully finished knife' category.
Anyway, just something to entertain ya'll.
Oh, ya. The "boy" could solder, eh?

those are some pretty good patterns, there.

That's fun to look at Karl. Those are great knives, but you have obviously "come a long way" in the last decade.

Thanks for sharing those with us!

Sometimes its fun to look back isn't it Karl :)

Sometimes it's downright scary
Embarrassing even.

I've asked myself on more than a few occasions when looking back, "What was I thinking"

On the other hand, the pics of the knives you just posted look pretty darn good if you ask me

I must say too, over the past several years, quite a few of us guys that have stuck with it here on BladeForums have come a long, long, long ways.

;)
