Got a few on the bench, but I'm teaching two days next week, so these will be the last ones finished in 2010. Another year older, and no wiser... Happy New Year to us all.

Here's a 10 3/4" W-2/ Stag taper, with some S/S and Damascus trim, and a clear polish rather than the matt finish I usually like.

This one's on it's way to Paul, then to California. Some nice Mammoth.

That's all folks, see you next year!

Both knives are terrific and the stash is most dreamy. That bowie is one of my favourite designs of yours.

Roger

Really nice John. From the looks of that stash 2011 should see a fair share of more great knives. I will certainly be looking forward to it.

Jon

Happy new year to you John, all the best!

:eek:Wow! Awesome Pieces John. Great stash of handle Materials. Looks like Your Good to go for the year:D:thumbup:

Both knives are awesome pieces and I would be very happy to own either!! One day hopefully soon John will be taking orders again and I will be able to reserve a slot for one of his Bowies.

Whoa there, Rick. I'm still taking orders. Those pieces of handle material need blades, but they need collectors, too....

John

Golly those are nice John. That Bowie is just beautiful. The proportions and curves.. all just so "right". When I grow up I wanna make knives like you. :p:D

Awsome knives, and I love seeing the handle material stash. Love the hamon on the bowie.

That's a great way to end 2010 John, very Nice as usuall. I'm looking forward to seeing up close what you bring to Arkansas this year. If you get confused about what materials to use, I'd like to help you illiminate some of the confusion, just send a piece or 2 my way, I like to help other makers every chance I can.:D

Outstanding. Beautiful work John. Really nice work.
My compliments and appreciation of your artistry.
If you ever want to make a "regular" knife let me know. Makeing beauties all the time, you might need to take a break and make a "normal' knife?

Nice John and you've got some great looking handle material. It looks like a busy year for you. See ya in Little Rock.
Bob

Both look great John. Love the hamon on the first and damascus on the second.

Quite an impressive stash as well! Those dagger blades on the top shelf look VERY interesting.

Peter

Those are good looking knives John but I really enjoyed getting a peek at your stash. Now if your in the stash and you have made it to the top shelf dose that mean the you have been picked for a project .

Dave,

You got it figured. Top shelf handle material's been picked. Two Walrus and two Mammoth's are next up, and two of the dagger blades match the mammoths.

Now if I'll only get back outside and get to work!

John
