Is anyone planning to go to the show today? I know in Atlanta, the place was pretty empty by Sunday.

I'll be hanging out :) I am leaving to do some pre show running but will be there till close!

Wanna swing by the Busse booth and ask them to add a few more knives to my box?? :D They already have my payment information and a kidney, so all I need is someone to say "hey put these blades in his box o-goodies!" Just about the easiest proxy job ever ;)

As much as I regret missing Blade West to see the Busse Crew and pick up some INFI, I also miss meeting Mr. Siegle -- and picking up a Siegle special or two.:)

I'm Siegle-less at the moment. That won't last.

I am too :(

This is the one I want:

:rolleyes:Looks like you're going all the way, MustardMan.

I'd love to compare that Siegle Khuk and the "Khuk which shall not be named" (at least for a few more months)."

I'd like to compare a HI, Kuk House, CS, Siegle, KZ, and maybe a few customs...

I like kuks. A lot.

There were a couple of customs at Blade Atlanta that I was REALLY close to pulling the trigger on. Only reason I didn't is because the zilla completely tapped me out.

:rolleyes:Correspond with Horn Dog. He's been testing (and posting) about good choppers for some time now. I think he has a strong foundation of real experience that you should seek out.

I like his tests and his posts.:)

Check out the Maker's For Sale Forum tonight or tomorrow to see if Bill puts up any leftovers. That's how I scored a Jungle Knife.

Blarg. I was going to go back out there (I'm staying in DT Portland, 15 miles away) to grab a M9 and consider the satin/tequila SJ one more time...but, and I'm not ashamed to say this here...I am waaay to drunk to get in a cab. Did you guys know there was a Deschutes brewery here?

went to Rogue too....great beers, just not brewed on premises. And, yup....haven't found a bar w/o a good beer selection!

I was just searching for faculty jobs on the west coast and saw something promising in oregon.... hmmmmmmm....

Good beer selections, you say?

HMMMMMMM....

im not a huge beer drinker or drinker in general but every time im in portland i drink it like water.... i am not a big fan of high hop beers but man whats there is great....

and you must hit voodoo donuts if your in portland...... bacon donut

portland probably has the best food selection of any city i have visited.... it was great.... i need to visit more often

I made it to voodoo donut too! I agree, PD is right behind NYC for food selection.

Two of my best meals ever, both Italian, one in downtown Portland, the other in TriBeCa. Two good food cities.

Let's not forget, however, little ol' Miami. We REALLY needa get a good knife show here so we can entice some people down. You ain't had a burger til' you've had a Colombian burger.

I managed to pick up the last bacon maple bar Voodoo Donuts had on Saturday morning. Beginner's luck. And yes, it's the best damn donut I've ever tasted.

I have to say that I was a bit skeptical when Troy and Justin handed me a bacon maple donut. However I have been converted and I have to say that I will never be able to eat a maple donut again without wishing it was covered in bacon. The Tang and fruit loop donuts were alright but bacon is the way to go.
