Last Day of Bow Season (no luck)

Saw 2 today but I think there moving later than I was in the woods. Full moon last night I think. I did see 2 just out if bow range. I'll bring the lead singer next weekend :)

Still fun though!!!

man I feel your pain, been out five days and haven't seen a deer one...although I have seen some turkeys about 200 yards off!!!! I still got 7 days left to hunt.....good luck!!!
 
I've taken a buck and missed a doe this year. Saw 2 doe yesterday but no shot. Saw deer most days out so it's been fun.
 
that sucks, hope you get better luck next year. its 4 point mulie of better till dec.10 for bow hunting here. rifles get shut down on nov.30. going to be be frickin cold in the tree stand though, 21 below today
 
Hunting a full moon is a pain in the butt sometimes. I usually have some good luck seeing deer around 12:00 - 3:00 pm during the full moon
 
Here in nc I can use same tag for rifle :)
 
I feel ya 'Ol Bud...I got up in the tree stand this morning ( day after thanksgiving) the temp was in the upper 30's & it was pouring the rain & wind was blowing really hard at times. I didn't see any deer all I got was Cold,Wet, & a sore throat ! :thumbdn: But I did enjoy just bieng out in the woods !
 
I'll try for my last day of doe season for me. Unless I get a morning in near Christmas anyways. No luck with seeing anything today either.

It's thick stuff! I just wanted to observe some deeper movement cause getting a shot is tough in this stuff :)

Oh yeah!! I love a Marlin .30-30. All I need around here for now. Dont have a shot more than 50 yards. I am trading for a 1952 Marlin .30-30 Sunday to be by backup to this one.

Excellent brush gun, a "brush buster" as my dad used to call his. Take care of it, expecially the ones made before 1964. Good luck the rest of the season . . :)

Tomorrow is last day of foe season till Dec 20th so it may be my last day in woods unless I can get in one morning before Christmas.
