Wow, I'd jump on that Ultimate Fighter in a HEARTBEAT if it wasn't so damn heavy! Not saying that's a bad thing... it looks like an absolute beast. But not quite what I'm looking for myself in weight. There's going to be a lot of happy buyers today and a lot of sore people who missed out come an hour or two. There's a lot of great stuff up here.

An Ang Khola Bowie by Murali seems to be pretty rare. Vim normally makes them. Murali's version appears to have a wider bevel and a maybe a narrower handle.
I have a Bura Tarwar Villager and it handles great. You won't be disappointed with that one.

Against my previous pains about the weight... I sent an e-mail out to Yangdu for the Ultimate Fighter. Damn these things for being so fantastic! If that one falls through and someone beat me to it, I'm poised to pick up another khukuri from the website. One way or another... come close of business today, I'll be the owner of an HI khuk.

Ha. I doubt you'll regret it. Vim's work is awesome. That is a cool looking blade and I like the sheath too.

Yeah, I saw a few pictures of another Ultimate Fighter in a couple other threads. It looks fantastic. If only I could afford all of them I'd grab them all up. :p But someone may have gotten in before me, so if it falls through I'll be hopping onto the site and getting an M-43.

After that I'm still wanting to get a hold of an S-CAK, CAK, WWII, and a Sirupati. Not necessarily in that order. I've been absolutely ruined by you guys and your stunning knives. I've always been interested in owning one of these and looked at all of the mass produced ones by Cold Steel, K-BAR, etc... but these HI ones are truly unique.

Now that is the what we all like to read here ...you have to start with some thing and "seize the day"! :p ;) :D

Here, here! I went to sleep this morning with the goal in mind that when I woke up I'd be buying one. Of course when I check the site here is this announcement. So maybe that's a good sign?

That Ultimate Fighter looks so cool, if I only I hadn't blown my stash o cash on the Everest Katana. Too bad I missed out on that Wajaski as well, could have made up a nice little Daisho combo.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there an Ultimate Fighter Bowie? Or am I confusing it with the AK Bowie?

What a beautiful group of offerings! That Tarwar is distilled purity of form, fantastic work by Bura.

It is absolutely amazing. I may have to get one or two of those too. :p I hate that everything looks so great. You look at pages for KA-BAR's or Cold Steel and they all look the same and generic. Each one of these seems to be as great as the other and unique.

Oh and confirmed... I'm the proud owner of the Ultimate Fighter. I missed out on yesterdays deals but I stuck close to the forums today hoping for something good.

Next I'll be going for the M-43, an S-CAK and CAK. I think the weight of the Ultimate Fighter might be a bit much for MA work, but it'll make for a decent backup chopper. At 40 ounces I imagine that thing will rival most AK's in blade width.

Which one?

I snagged the Wajaski before any of the images had fully loaded (I was on dial-up at the time), but then I saw the Tarwar and went with that instead. I think that I've changed mt mind at least once on every order so far.... Not a good shark.

Yeah I asked about the shipping and she said roughly 7 days. I have heard of people by reading these threads, that they got theirs rather quickly. Either way, it's good news (I can manage a week). That may help too... if I got it and was too happy, I'd be inclined to get another. This way, at least I wont be buying two in a week.

But, it'll be my first of many I foresee. Hopefully Yangdu can put up with me until I reach the point where I'm satisfied with all of my purchases. :D

She sometimes uses UPS so that can take longer than USPS Priority depending on your location.

Email on Wajaski sent. Thank you!

Fantastic deal on a most excellent blade.... thanks for finally taking it off the board. I already have one - but this was such a gem of a deal that I durn near sharked this one just for the heck of it!
