I actually started this one about a year ago, and I’ve been working on it off and on (mostly off) since then.
The blade is 7″ long, Gordians Knot damascus. The guard is opposing twist damascus. The spacer is bronze, the handle is desert ironwood.

Thanks for looking, and happy new year to you all!

There is absolutely nothing on that dagger to dislike. The entire package is amazing! And then you start looking at details. Beautiful!!

Phillip, I am not normally a fan of Bronze... But I think in this case it you couldn't have made a better choice, it compliments the damascus and Ironwood perfectly! Thanks for sharing

Phillip, the ironwood on this knife and the 9 inch fighter is really stunning!

I visited your website a couple times and can see a "face" of your work already well developed! very impressive work!

Phillip, your work has been for some time some of the most inspiring work I've seen around here. I knew when I clicked on this post I'd probably see nice damascus, very graceful and clean swept grinding, and overall cool design. I see I was right to assume so.

that is very nice, indeed! How did you grind/shape the ricasso area? Did you use a small wheel or large wheel or flex shaft or files or what? In other words, that looks like it would be pretty difficult on a platen. You nailed it, though.

good one,

Kevin
