Art, thank you for allowing me to. I try not to directly copy anyones work, but I do take deffinite inspiration from certain pieces. I have sat and thought about why every one of your knives appeal to me in one way or another nd I have come up with simple elegance. I haven't seen any pirate bowies, zombie slayers, bushcraft survival or other over built, under styled knives come from your shop. I like that most all of your knives are a usable size, simple in details and not adorned with so much it looks like you are trying to hard. Everything on your knives is there because it needs to be and nothing more. Filework an burl wood are classy additions to set it apart and show your level of craftsmanship. Much like nice cuff links on a dress shirt.
Sure some of the bowies are awesome, the compound grinds of zombie slayers are technically difficult, but its like making a black shirt look good by adding lots of gaudy jewelery. When it should be tailored, ironed, and a small touch of shine added to really show off the simple elegance of nohing more and nothing less.
The specific knife of yours that really made me take the leap was a little bird and trout you had engraved, I believe it was from a few years back. I saw it on rimfirecentral I believe.
Always a fan and someday will be an owner of your work!
