last knife of 2018

here's my last knife of 2018 just completed.
slip joint of my design, stag and kingwood, Damasteel Odin's eye blade and backspring.

Technically my last knife is the one with no scales that I finished quick for a grab bag gift, but these were all finished the week before Christmas and the last ones of ‘18. All are AEBL and a few are the first ones I heat treated with my evenheat.

I work in batches so no last knife but more like last knives of 2018. There was 67 in this last batch. Here's a couple:

I finished grinding the next batch of 57 yesterday and they are headed off to Peter's today.

Here's my last two EDC in 3/32 52100...both under 8". Both have mesquite scales and multi-layer fiber liners. I made several in a batch but those will have to wait til next year.

The one on the left will be finished by the end of the day so technically I can post it here right?

My last. Finished just before Christmas. A gift to my wife. So it gets to stay at home .

8" Chefs knife. Brass liners. Black diamond Richlite with brass pins. AEB-L with a 600g finish.

I like them all , which steel you use?

Thanks! All these were AEBL. Most of them are .100- 1/8 thick and the hunter with carbon fiber/ironwood was 3/16 I believe.
