The CS Christmas sale ends today, so at the last minute I broke down and ordered an Immortal in Coyote Tan. The knife has been on my radar since it came out, but I always thought that the blade was too short for what it was. If they made an XL Immortal, I would have jumped a long time ago. Apparently this knife is being discontinued, so that combined with the sale price, well you know the rest. I don't know how much it will get used or carried, but at least I won't be sorry (like I have been with so many other discontinued models) that I didn't buy one when prices were not driven up by unavailability.
Moral of the story; act right away when the sale catalog comes out at the end of the year. And if a knife that appeals to you is being discontinued, buy it.
