I started this knife with my first batch of 10 D2 blanks. I had trouble getting it right. I am talking about the grind and finish. I learned a lot with this one, I worked on it a lot. This little thing and that. A bit of experiment and learn, I even blasted it with garnets and worked it. Finally I say its done. The bevels come down fine and it hardly has an edge bevel. Razor sharp. Even on both sides. Curly Bubinga scales, my mosaic pins, super glue finish. Got m hands on some nice leather for more sheaths. It gets to go on vacation with me,

Yep, that one just says, 'Use me every day!' Oh, what's a 'super glue finish', that is what qualities does it have over some other finish?

Super glue finish. Heres how I did it. I got the scales mounted and profiled. Then I sanded to 220 and then took thin super glue and wiped it all over the wood, waited a bit for the glue to harden and sanded with 220, recoated with glue and sanded with 320, recoated and sand with 400, recoatded. again with 400 then recoat and use super fine steel wool on 2 coats. Makes a hard, clear, finish that fills any grain very well.

That version in the single wood handle is nice. No fair taking a vacation, you need to start on the next batch.;)

Thanks for the complements. I won't be doing anymore batches of 10. While I learned a lot working that many and got lots of practice and was apple to study and improve at each step it did get tedious at times. I am going to do 5 next time. Multiple blades makes sense with this stuff because of the HT. Cost of dry ice and acetone etc and just the time involved. The next ones will be a better than the last. I hope every knife I built is better than the las. Jim
