Alrighty Guys. There are a few knives left from Blade Show and I'll list them below. First though I'd like to thank everyone that makes this possible. Nothing happens with Fiddleback Forge without y'all.
AND, I am going to ramble about my doings last week. First up on the ajenda was a long overdue meeting with Sandy Morissey at his shop in Blairsville. Sandy is a master craftsman and has been making sheaths for 70 years. I went up on Thursday and spent a day in his shop making a sheath. A person can't help but learn from a master craftsman from the moment they walk into the shop. Sandy has little jigs and tools he made and has used for decades. This is the kinda stuff I feed from. It was an excellent day!
Friday, I took Dylan and Ron out onto Lake Lanier, and we got skunked again. I was very frustrated, and took the boat out myself again on Saturday to try some other tactics. Finally, I pulled a few bass into the boat. This felt like overcoming a great challenge. Shiners on the bottom. Boring fishing, but it worked. I had actually given up on bass and switched to crappie.
Saturday was my 11th wedding anniversary as well. I can't remember a better one. I am blessed. Thank you Leah.
Now! On to the knives.
First up is a hidden tang Bushcraft Karda made from 1/8" thick 01 steel. The handle is black canvas micarta. Pins are black canvas as well. $240 shipped US with Heber sheath.
Next is a Bushcraft Karda wearing ivory paper over natural canvas micarta. 5/32" 3d Spalted 01 on this one. $250 shipped US with sheath.
I've got an EDC available today too. Natural over natural with an orange pinstripe. 1/8" thick 3d Spalted 01 with a Scandi. $240 shipped US with sheath.
This is a 3 Finger Joe wearing white linen micarta over natural canvas. 1/8" thick 3d Spalted 01 steel with a Scandi. $175 shipped with a pocket sheath.
This is the Fiddleback Camp Knife. Hand rubbed 5/32" thick 01 blade. $400 shipped US in a pouch (I need a sheath pattern made for these).
I also have a hand rubbed Competition Cutter wearing antique micarta scales. 5/32" thick 01 on this one as well. $450 shipped US in a pouch.
