Alrighty Guys. There are a few knives left from Blade Show and I'll list them below. First though I'd like to thank everyone that makes this possible. Nothing happens with Fiddleback Forge without y'all.

AND, I am going to ramble about my doings last week. First up on the ajenda was a long overdue meeting with Sandy Morissey at his shop in Blairsville. Sandy is a master craftsman and has been making sheaths for 70 years. I went up on Thursday and spent a day in his shop making a sheath. A person can't help but learn from a master craftsman from the moment they walk into the shop. Sandy has little jigs and tools he made and has used for decades. This is the kinda stuff I feed from. It was an excellent day!

Friday, I took Dylan and Ron out onto Lake Lanier, and we got skunked again. I was very frustrated, and took the boat out myself again on Saturday to try some other tactics. Finally, I pulled a few bass into the boat. This felt like overcoming a great challenge. Shiners on the bottom. Boring fishing, but it worked. I had actually given up on bass and switched to crappie.

Saturday was my 11th wedding anniversary as well. I can't remember a better one. I am blessed. Thank you Leah.

Now! On to the knives.

First up is a hidden tang Bushcraft Karda made from 1/8" thick 01 steel. The handle is black canvas micarta. Pins are black canvas as well. $240 shipped US with Heber sheath.

CONGRATS on the anniversary!!! Second, I am beyond jealous with your opportunity to work with such an experienced and skilled leather craftsman, that must have been a real highlight! Third, damn I need a woodsman... ideally with black over natural canvas, nat pins and a groovy little orange stripe sandwiched between the two. And some Andy scandi would REALLY sweeten the deal... Amen.

Happy anniversary! Glad you got some fishing in too...sounds like you took lessons from me (getting skunked that is). Dang, evertime you have a bushcraft karda I'm broke...I'm always amazed that they seem to be the last to sell whenever they are offered here.

Happy Anniversary to you and Mrs. Roy! That is wonderful news and I do pray you will have many more. :)

Those are wonderful looking blades Andy. One observation though, the two bottom pictures look like one in the same even though they are described as two different models.

My God, Andy, your aesthetics are through the roof gorgeous. Congrats to you and the Mrs:)

Is the Comp Cutter picture wrong -- it looks the same as the Camp Knife to me? I was hoping some of the stainless made it back from Blade, but they all appear to have been adopted already.

I bet you learned a ton from Sandy - I am envious of you - that is an 'invite only' sort of thing.

Happy anniversary. You are a lucky guy - she is a pretty lady who puts up with you - not a small thing. ;)

Yikes! The comp cutter pic is wrong. I'll put up the correct pic tomorrow. Thanks foe the kind words guys.

Crappie?? You've been away LA for to long... You mean sac-au-lait right?
That's some good eating.
Happy anniversary.

Happy belated anniversary to you and the Mrs. Andy and may you two have Many Many more in the future. On another note are you going to take up sheath making in the future for your blades? Nice camp knife too wish i had the $$ for that one. Well have a great day and stay cool in this heat.

Doug

Doug, I've never figured out how to stay in business and make my own sheaths. I wish. I need a sewing machine. Luckily, I know how to make a passable one. I try to keep the skills fresh with a few a year, but I can't afford the time currently.
