Well, since I had done a Dadly pattern and completed a clipped point kit blade(See Finally made one post), I decided to make a custom clipped point model. I think the worst is over but I may have to make a Sticker (double edged)pattern next weekend to finish off the "craving" :D
 
my wife prefers the kit blade model as it has a very thin blade. I made this guy outa 3/16 1084 and added a little length to the blade and handle. After scanning the pic went back to the shop and thinned it out a little more in the edge. Now there is very little secondary bevel to the edge. I think I will give this one a few trips to the woods this summer:) This knife screams "use me!" I don't know how folks will take to the design though. No guard,no tactical finish,no lanyard hole,and no serrations. Just a sharp edge,a point,and a handle:D I wonder if an 1890s era mountain man would still use the design with all the choices we have today:rolleyes:
