Specifics wise, paypal preffered (no fees), prices include shipping via USPS Priority. And if you need other pics or have questions, just let me know. No trades please.
From the top down:
New Zealand/Australia military issued parang/machete: 13" carbon steel blade with an overall length of 19" and a thickness of .175. These are from the very late sixties/early seventies are were issued for troops in Vietnam. Unused, and still has the varnish coating that it came with. Definitely not the best finished blade and handle, but designed for heavy duty work. Wood handle and a cotton canvas sheath that was issued. Doing a websearch on them it seems these are unavailable on the couple of Australian sites that had them, but did find an ebay sale for about $175. Price on this one is $100...$80...$70...$65...$60...$55 shipped.
Old Amputation(???)Scalpel: 12.25" overall length and a 7.25" blade length. All integral construction, with a chrome plating that has worn in places with pitting on the blade. Marked "Haslam" on the right hand side of the handle and V. Mueller and Co. on left hand side with "60R and UofI" on the left hand side. Old, and from the '50's I was told. What else can be said about a foot long scalpel other then being hard to find and spooky at the same time?
No sheath, obviously. Price is $75...$60...$50...$45...$40 shipped.
Hanwei Tactical Tanto: 12.25" overall length and a seven inch blade from 1/4" carbon steel. Used but not abused and in desperate need of sharpening. Clip on the metal sheath still locks up tight to the knife, and the clip for belt/gear attachment works perfect. Sheath is in pretty good shape with only a very small spot or two of the coating missing. Price is SOLD
Cold Steel Twistmaster: This is the large clip point version. 4.75" blade and almost 11" overall. Perfect lockup, for lack of a better word. Unused but it does have storage wear and a couple of spots of minor corrosion close to the spine on the right hand side. No sheath (early one, and didn't come with one), but I might have the box. Price is SOLD
