I guess I wont be showing anymore rigs. They want me to pay as a dealer to show my rigs that I make for fun and I wont do l it. Everyone knows I'm not a dealer or have ever tried to sell anything . I just like showing what I make for fun but I guess rules are rules. I renewed at the gold level as before and was told it was no good so I upgraded Platinum for $50.00 more and was told that was no good also so I told her to credit Pay Pal and was told no. My fault for not reading the rules. I had gold for 1 1/2 years till now. Thanks to all of you for your nice comments. KT

You don't need the dealer membership...... just the knife maker one. (I think it's $60.00 a year?)

They will prorate what you already paid into it......:)

Hey don't feel bad about it - they had a lot of members here do this change over, even after being paying members here for years.

I would like to see you stick around - you made some cool stuff, I enjoyed seeing your work.

So don't leave - life is too short.

Hey KT, no way you need a Dealer membership here! I dont know who told you that, but I will get this cleared up asap.

I'll be in touch.

Terry, I am almost sure there is a misunderstanding here. I can see where the "Orange" Knifemaker, Service Provider deal might be in order, but not the "Green" Dealer status. I don't ever remember you selling or trying to sell anything. The Orange membership does have some nice perks even beyond Platinum. I was Platinum for years, but when they decided to have the Orange, I rolled over at their request and haven't been a bit sorry since. Hang around and just turn Orange!

Paul

Thanks Paul, yea, I do believe we have a miscommunication here, and I know its workable.

The Knifemaker/Craftsman/Service Provider membership might be the answer, but ultimately I hope we can come to a amicable finish here. :) Its not that difficult to figure, if your simply doing something for fun, not profit..... then we need to make it more clear where we need to draw the line.

Gentlemen thanks for the input. I am 70 years old and was manager of Pepsi Cola for 27 years so its not about the money. With me its the principal. I retired at 55 and started to do this 8 years ago as a hobby and have never sold any rigs or sheaths. I have given many away to people who wanted to get into competition shooting mounted and other wise. I have posted on other sites that due to my health I wont be doing this to much longer. I do all my sewing by hand. Hands are giving out and eyes aren't good either so to me it is what it is. KT :)

I dont think there will be anything to miss, I do believe we've got it figured out now and all is well. :)

I want to thank you all for your support but most of all I want to thank my GOOD friend Dwayne alias Leatherman for the GREAT job he did by making this all come to a good end. Thank you Dwayne . Your friend Terry alias KT This ones for you. No belt . Going to hang it on a antler for show.

Hooooleeey Cowskins! Thats beautiful! Love the ostrich inlay! Thanks for posting that! :D

I've found that 90% (maybe more) of the problems we encounter are due to communication, lack or communication, or just plain misunderstanding. I'm glad you'all got this one worked out. Mighty nice work, kid terico!

Mighty wise words Derek, and Welcome to Blade Forums! Better yet, Welcome to Sheaths and Such! :D :D :D

There are two of us sheathmakers here who are YOUR advocates, Kiah and I. Please let either one of us know if you have any issues. More often than not its a misunderstanding, and without someone to plead your case in the mod area, its rather difficult I know. I've been there.

Just goes to show, no one should be without a Leatherman! ;)
Thank you.
:D :D :D but my name begins with the lower case, as always an homage to the feller who has it as his real name. :)

Welcome Derik Dean. Sheaths & such is a great group of people.
Kid Terico, love that holster. I would really like to get into holster making too. Please keep posting pictures up.
I was getting concerned about them asking to pay. I'm thinking about going to gold member soon. Wasnt planning at all to go to orange.
