I have looked at various Jeff Hall Bounty Hunters on several occasions and came close to buying. No need for buyer's remorse there; I suspect it's a great knife.
I tend to jump at things like Spyderco Sage models and 3.5" Calys in SuperBlue, particularly when I can buy them "right." Of course, they are in and out fairly quickly. I love these models, but seem to admire them rather than to carry them.
The Caly is a great carry knife, however, for an office environment.
What I do find "scary" is when I spot a fixed blade with beautiful wood, or a custom folder or traditional and I admire the lines and the blade-steel and just hafta have it. Then, I worry about how to pay for it, and what I'm going to do with it.
It's quite a common disease in these here parts.
p.s. ...bladeboss didn't just "forget" his knife at home; it's pretty obvious that he wanted another Victorinox Recruit that he could justify to his wife when he got home again.
"Gosh, honey, I hadda get a knife so I could help out my dad!"
I'll have to remember that one... very well done!
