Finished these up today. A Nessmuk with some sweet looking desert ironwood and a prototype semi-skinner with an added guard.

Every time I see your knives I like and appreciate them.

From the pictures, they look to be made the best that can be done. Great designs, materials and workmanship is what counts to me

i'd like to try to wear that Nessmuk out.:D nice deep belly and a good square butt for pounding thru the sternum. awesome goods.

hey wait a minute, what kinda steel you got there?

The Nessmuk is O1, 1/8" thick. The semi-skinner is 8" overall with a 3 3/4" blade, 5/32" thick. I'm going to make them out of D2 or A2.

I'm a collector and admirer of knives. This Christmas I got a belt sander and I'm in for the long haul. I'm going to start by making a few kit knives. Does anyone have any suggestions about which may be the best. I'd love to get some feedback from someone that actually has a clue. Thanks, Hal:
